What Will I See on the Tour?
Our most asked question, the easy answer is what you will NOT see, and that’s simple, cranberries floating in water with guys with waders on!!! WHY? That happens only during the harvest, and we do NOT offer Harvest Tours.
- Our tours are unique as we offer them year around to educate and inform visitors on Cranberry Farming.
- Once you arrive at our parking lot you will join others on our enclosed bus to begin the tour. ( do not be Late)
- The Guide while driving around the field begins with January and goes through each month of the calendar year explaining what a farmer does to grow cranberries.
- By September in her presentation you disembark the vehicle and enter a building set up like a small auditorium. In there you will view a video on the Harvest while explaining both Dry and Wet Harvest and viewing screening equipment used to clean and package cranberries.
- Back in the vehicle and the tour finishes with a presentation on November and December as you proceed back to the parking lot and Farm Stand.
The Tours takes 1 1⁄2 hours and we ask you to schedule 2 hours due to questions and time to visit the Stand.
Tour MUST LEAVE AT TIME DESIGNATED! We have back to back tours and can NOT wait. ( Do NOT be late for your tour)
